C21 Drama Series Script Competition open for entries in association with eOne

The application deadline is Thursday October 13th, with finalists due to be announced Friday October 28th.

The competition is designed to unearth new talent in international drama, by assessing pilot scripts for a one-hour drama series from a fresh writer with global appeal.

Entries must be no longer than 60 pages which has been written in the last two years. In addition a 1-3 page document must be supplied which includes a succinct description of the series.

The six finalists will be paired with an established screenwriter for the month of November. Their mentorship will involve providing script notes, pitching advice, and input on how to “sell” the ongoing series they created.

The finalists will present their script & series to a panel of judges at the C21 International Drama Summit, which runs from November 29th-December 1st 2016 at Picturehouse Central in London. The winner will receive a $10,000 prize, and the script itself will be put into development at Entertainment One Television.Visit the competition page for further information
