IADT’s NFS Lecture Series to host Emmy-winning Production Designer/Animator Nelson Lowry

Event takes place on campus on Friday, October 16th
In the opening event of this year’s series, IADT’s the National Film School, in association the Irish Film Board will welcome Production Designer/Animator Nelson Lowry to the IADT campus on Friday 16 October 2015.

Nelson Lowry is the Supervising Production Designer for Laika (Oregon). Winner of the (US) National Society of Film Critics' Award for Best Production Design for his work on ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’, his extensive credits include ‘The Boxtrolls’, ‘ParaNorman’, ‘Corpse Bride’, and Danny Boyle's ‘Sunshine’.

Nelson also contributed to twenty-two episodes of ‘The PJs’, a Touchstone Pictures stop-motion animated TV series for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. He has also been nominated for several Annie Awards.

This event is presented in partnership with the Dublin Animation Film Festival and will take place on Friday 16 October 2015 on the IADT campus in Room A019, Atrium Building at 2.45pm.
