The Gaiety School of Acting - The National Theatre School of will host an Open Day for prospective students for Full Time & One Year Part Time Courses on Saturday 10th January 2015 at the Gaiety School of Acting, Essex Street West in Temple Bar from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
The Gaiety School have noted that this Open Day is specifically aimed at students who are committed to the pursuit of excellence in the field of acting and have an interest in attending the Two Year Full Time Intensive Professional Actor Training Programme or a One Year Part Time course.
The day will begin at 10.30am with a welcome address from Gaiety School Director, Patrick Sutton. This will be followed by a series of half hour workshops from 11.00am to 1pm. These workshops will be based on elements of both the Full Time & Part Time Course modules including Improvisation, Voice, Movement, Acting and Manifesto.
All attendee’s will be invited in the afternoon to attend a Q&A session with a panel of staff, who will be able to answer any questions and queries they may have. This will be followed by an Audition workshop at approximately 3pm for those who are specifically interested in learning the do’s and don’ts of the audition process.
Throughout the day there will also be an information desk run by students in the common area and they will be available to share their experiences of the courses, offer a short tour of the facilities and discuss any questions prospective students may have.
