Screen Leaders announces line up for final module of 2014 programme

Screen Leaders is is an initiative of Screen Training Ireland supported by the MEDIA Programme 2007-2013 of the European Union. It is the leading Strategic Company Development Programme for the Screen Industries.

The final module of the Screen Leaders 2014 programme takes place in Amsterdam from the 27th to the 30th of November and will culminate with participants receiving certification for completion of the 2014 programme.

Speakers for Module 3 of the programme include European Film Academy nominees Erik Hemmendorff, Producer, Platform Produktion for FORCE MAJEURE and Ewa Puszczyńska, Producer, OPUS Films, for IDA; Mark Little, CEO, Storyful; Henric Larsson, CEO, Chimney Group; Esther Bannenberg, Acquisitions, Lumière; Pim Hermeling, Owner, September Film Distribution; Martin Paul-Hus, Vice President, Amèrique Film; Martin Rabarts, Head of Development, NFDC India and Deborah Rowland, CEO, We Are The Tonic.

Screen Leaders with the support of the Nederlands Film Fund and the Creative Europe Desk NL will present a seminar as part of the Module entitled ‘How to Launch a European Film in the International Market’ in the Eye Museum in Amsterdam for local Dutch Industry and Screen Leaders participants, to provide networking opportunities with local industry.

Screen Leaders is industry led, responsive and custom designed to the needs of the participating companies so that it is effective as a training intervention and has real results in the work life and long term development of the participating individuals and companies. It tailors the course content to meet the current needs of the companies so every year there is an evolution in the action to address the specific needs of the companies selected.

Over a six month period participants develop a strategic plan for their business that is execution lead. During the process participants have company meetings and one to one mentorship throughout the programme to develop their company strategy and also their own personal style of leadership. The course will focus on strategy and leadership, building innovation processes, brand development, culture and team building, financial planning, managing the developing process and influencing and leading people.

In an industry in constant turbulence SCREENLEADERS is a bespoke programme that allows companies the time and space to step back and plan strategically for the future growth and development of themselves and their company.
