New Drama 'Corp 's Anam' For Galway Shoot
01 Apr 2010 :
Cameras are set to roll in May on the set of a brand new Irish language drama entitled ‘Corp ‘s Anam’. The four part drama series will shoot in Galway for eight weeks and is to be directed by Darach Mac Con Iomaire in his TV drama directorial debut.

Producer Paddy Hayes of Magamedia tells IFTN that the four x 50 minute episodes of the series are set in contemporary Ireland and tell the story of TV crime correspondent Cathal Mac Iarnáin. Cathal is a man who prides himself on pursuing the story behind the story, but is too busy to notice that the world of crime is coming closer to home every day.

‘Corp ‘s Anam’ will feature Ruairi O’Brien (Corduroy) as director of photography. The drama’s cast will be revealed at a later date.

The TG4 drama has received funds from the BCI Sound and Vision scheme.
