Éanna Hardwicke cast in second season of Fate: The Winx Saga as production commences in Wicklow

The cast for Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2
After renewing the second season in February, Netflix have announced that production is underway in Wicklow on the second season of Fate: The Winx Saga, with Irish actor and Normal People star Éanna Hardwicke joining the cast.

Alongside Hardwicke, who will play the role of ‘Sebastian’, new cast members include Brandon Grace as Grey and Paulina Chávez as Flora. The new cast joins those set to reprise their roles including Abigail Cowen as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Eliot Salt as Terra, and Elisha Applebaum as Musa,Sadie Soverall as Beatrix, Freddie Thorp as Riven, Danny Griffin as Sky, Theo Graham as Dane, Jacob Dudman as Sam, Ken Duken as Andreas and Rob James Collier as Silva.

Fate: The Winx Saga follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence. From creator Brian Young (The Vampire Diaries), Fate: The Winx Saga is a live-action reimagining of the Italian cartoon series Winx Club by Iginio Straffi.

The first season filmed across several locations in Ireland with Kilruddery House in Bray acting as Alfea College, Powerscourt, Co.Wicklow being home to the Circle of Stones,  interiors being shot in Ardmore Studios, and additional scenes taking place across Dublin.

Brian Young (The Vampire Diaries) will return as Showrunner and Executive Producer.Further Executive Producers include Judy Counihan and Kris Thykier from Archery Pictures (Riviera, The State) plus Joanne Lee and Cristiana Buzzelli from Rainbow. Irish Production Company Wild Atlantci Pictures also produces on the series.
