‘The Party’ Shortlisted for European Film Awards Short Film Category

The Party
Andrea Harkin’s short, selected by Cork has been shortlisted for the European Film Awards.

Funded by the Irish Film Board, the short is set in Belfast 1972. Laurence invites his cousin and man-on-the-run Mickey to a party of drinking, dancing and young love. by morning, reality catches up with them.

The European Film Academy congratulates the nominees. The nominated films will soon be submitted to the more than 3,000 EFA Members to elect the winner. The 30th European Film Awards take place in Berlin on 9th December 2017
