Screen Scene VFX will once again be a Visual Effects vendor on HBO’s Emmy award winning show ‘Game of Thrones’.
Visual Effects Supervisor Ed Bruce & VFX Producer Alan Collins will lead the SSVFX team as they work on nearly 200 shots for the upcoming fifth series under the direction of Lead Visual Effects Supervisor Joe Bauer and Visual Effects Producer Steve Kullback.
VFX supervisor Ed Bruce said: ‘Game of Thrones’ has become such a huge successful hit since we began working on the maiden season many years ago. Being part of that journey again, contributing to the shows highly praised visual effects, is a great complement to SSVFX and our own international standing.’
Drawing further international recognition with a VES award nomination earlier this year for their work on BBC/Amazon Prime’s Ripper Street, SSVFX’s upcoming projects include ITV’s ‘The Frankenstein Chronicles‘, Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Room’ and the screen adaptation of Ken Follett’s best-selling novel ‘A Dangerous Fortune’.
Season five of ‘Game of Thrones’ will premiere this April on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
