The ’Fifty Shades of Grey’ star has been cast in Forrest’s project, with Jemima Kirke (Girls) and Lola Kirke (Mozart in the Jungle) also set to star as on screen sisters.
Forrest will direct her own screenplay, which sees successful writer Nick (Jamie Dornan) having an affair with heroin addict Andrea (Jemima Kirke) who was once a teen prodigy. The narrative follows the relationships of both Andrea and her sister Tara (Lola Kirke) whose romantic life is more settled.
The project is set to be introduced by Green-Light International to buyers at TIFF, which is currently underway in Toronto. Scott LaStaiti, Luke Daniels and Brandon K. Hogan are on board to produce, with Jeff Elliot and Chad Moore of Green-Light International set to executive produce, and production slated for October 17th of this year.
Other titles featuring Dornan include ‘Anthropoid’ which releases to Irish cinemas today. Fellow Irish talent Cillian Murphy also stars in the WWII thriller. ‘The Siege of Jadotvile’ is also set to release to Netflix in October of this year.
