Latest images of ‘Assassin's Creed’ starring Michael Fassbender are released
11 Jul 2016 : Katie McNeice
The Irish Actor is seen in the latest stills released by 20th Century Fox. The game adaptation directed by Justin Kurzel is to release to Irish cinemas on the 30th of December 2016.

Fassbender stars as Callum Lynch, who discovers he is the descendant of a secret Assassins society.

On what attracted him to portray the violent drifter Lynch, Fassbender has stated, "I just thought that there was a great cinematic story in the ethos behind the game… this idea of Assassins and Templars. It’s not like your ‘Star Wars’ franchise where you have the light and the dark side. This is a very muddled-up moral ground."

Fassbender and Conor McCaughan (Slow West) are producers of the film, along with Jean-Julien Baronnet, Patrick Crowley, Frank Marshall and Arnon Milchan.
