Dame Judi Dench Cast in ‘Tulip Fever’
The Weinstein Company has added Dame Judi Dench to the line-up for ‘Tulip Fever’, a historical drama set in 17th century Amsterdam.

Also joining the production is ‘Glee’ star Matthew Morrison who will play a drunken bohemian artist Mattheus, Cara Delevingne as artists’ model Annetje, and Cressida Bonas as Mrs. Steen, a merchant’s young wife. ‘Tulip Fever’ marks the tenth movie Dench has made with The Weinstein Company. The 'Philomena' star is set to play the Abbess of St. Ursula's, a rescuer of orphan children. ‘Tulip Fever’ follows a married woman (Alice Vikander) who begins a passionate affair with an artist hired to paint her portrait. The lovers gamble on the booming market for tulip bulbs as a way to raise money to run away together.

Justin Chadwick is directing from a Tom Stoppard script, adapted from Deborah Moggach’s romance novel. Alison Owen will produce the project via Ruby Films. Previously announced cast members include Dane DeHaan, Jack O’Connell, Holliday Grainger, Christoph Waltz and Zach Galifianakis.

‘Forrest Gump’ & ‘Ghostbusters’ Set to Return to Theatres
Paramount have announced that it will be rereleasing ‘Forest Gump’ in Imax for the Best Picture Oscar winner’s 20th anniversary and Sony will bring back ‘Ghostbusters’ for its 30th anniversary.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Academy Award winner Tom Hanks, ‘Forest Gump’ was originally released in theatres July 6, 1994, and was a critical and commercial smash, grossing $677 million worldwide. Nominated for 13 Academy Awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role (Tom Hanks), and Best Writing, the film also stars Robin Wright, Sally Field and Gary Sinise and is based on the novel by Winston Groom. The film will screen in Imax auditoriums starting September 5.

Commemorating its 30th anniversary, Sony Pictures Entertainment will be releasing ‘Ghostbusters’ and its sequel ‘Ghostbusters II’ in more than 700 theatres in the U.S. and Canada on August 29. This marks the first time ‘Ghostbuster II’ has been released on Blu-ray. It will also contain deleted scenes that haven't yet been released. Both movies will also feature newly recorded conversations with Dan Aykroyd and director Ivan Reitman.

Rory Bruer, Sony's president of worldwide distribution, said: “‘Ghostbusters' is still one of our studio's most beloved franchises — I was lucky enough to work on the release of the film on its first run, so it's a real thrill for me to see that it's still connecting with audiences everywhere. On the big screen or in home entertainment, this is a great movie to experience again and again.”

The movie's re-release is only one aspect of the campaign Sony Pictures has planned for the summer — special events, new merchandise, and a new Blu-ray set are also part of the plan. Legacy Recordings/Sony Music Entertainment will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic ‘Ghostbusters’ soundtrack with multiple collectible vinyl LP releases this year

Owen Wilson & Zach Galifianakis 'Are You Here' Trailer Released
Written and directed by Matthew Weiner (Mad Men, The Sopranos), ‘Are You Here’ follows two childhood best friends, weatherman and bachelor about town Steve (Owen Wilson) and bi-polar screw-up Ben (Zach Galifianakis). The pair travel home when Ben’s estranged father dies, only to discover that he’s actually inherited a ton of money. There, the friendship is tested thanks to complicated relationships with Ben’s sister Terry (Amy Poehler) and Steve’s lust for Angela (Laura Ramsey), Ben’s father’s young widow.

‘Are You Here’ marks Weiner’s cinematic directorial debut and also stars Laura Ramsey, Jenna Fischer, Edward Herrmann and Peter Bogdanovich. The feel good film is produced by Gary Gilbert, Scott Hornbacher and Jordan Horowitz with Keith Addis executive producing.
