Commenting on the appointment James Hickey Chief Executive said "Dr. Annie Doona has done a huge amount of work on the IFB Board since her appointment in 2012, and in particular since she stepped into the position of acting Chair after Bill O'Herlihy's death last year, which was a great loss to us all. The IFB and the industry at large has benefited from the wealth of experience and dedication that she has brought to the Board during her term. We are delighted that she has today been appointed Chair designate."
