‘The Stinky & Dirty Show’ – an animated show aimed at preschool-age children with animation from Brown Bag Films – has been greenlit by Amazon for a full series to be shown on the Amazon Prime Instant VOD streaming service.
The show follows the adventures and mishaps faced by two best friends — and unlikely heroes — Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader.
The series is based on the ‘I Stink!’ book series by Kate and Jim McMullan, adapted by Guy Toubes and animated by Brown Bag Films (‘Peter Rabbit’, ‘Octonauts’, ‘Doc McStuffins’).
The Dublin based studio’s series is one of five pilots that have been picked up by Amazon to become part of their Amazon Prime Instant VOD streaming service. The other four shows are ‘Mad Dogs’, ‘The Man in the High Castle’, ‘The New Yorker Presents’, and ‘Just Add Magic’.
The show has been picked up after debuting on Amazon Prime on January 15th along with 12 other piloting shows.
The series will be made available to streaming customers from later this year.
