Irish director Stephen Patrick Kenny (‘The Pigman Murders) has completed filming on his second feature ‘Captive’, which will be released in 2015.
‘Captive’, which was shot in Tuam, Co. Galway, is a chilling story. Eleven strangers are led by a man who tries to guide them through a series of games to get a cure for a killer virus that they all seem to be infected with. As the clock counts down, over twenty four hours they have to make some decisions that will haunt them for the rest of their lives… as the decisions get harder, characters are broken.
Mark Hutchinson (‘The Pigman Murders’) leads the cast which also stars Tom Ward (‘Love/Hate’), Camille Yourell (‘Jack Taylor’), Mike McNamara, Bernie Kavanagh, Rob James Capel, Marty Nolan, Frankie Moran, Rachael O' Connor, Martin Beanz Warde, Emma Gunning, Niall Comer, Jamie Burke, John Sweeney and Nic Furlong.
Camera work was by Marius Puodziunas and Alan Cantrell, sound was by Richie Finnegan. Make-up was by Tina Murray, Han Young, Rita Finnegan and Cuong Ly. Nathan Dunne will edit with Kerry Whitehouse taking over music.
