Irish filmmakers hoping to attend this year’s Cannes Film Festival have been invited to register for membership of the Irish Pavilion at the prestigious event.
The Irish Film Board have opened registration for membership of the pavilion, which will be located in the festival’s international village and act as a central hub for Irish members throughout the May 16-27 event.
Registration is open only to Irish companies or individuals working in the Irish film industry with the deadline for online registration on Wednesday April 25.
Filmmakers have been asked by the IFB to complete the IP members’ registration form on the film board’s website.
The IFB are also asking filmmakers with features, shorts or co-productions screening or selling at the festival to contact the film board to ensure that their details are included in the board’s marketing materials and promotions.
They are asked to contact the film board by filling out a form on the film board’s website or emailing marketing@irishfilmboard.ie
