BAI added to Section 481 Revenue Guidelines

There has been a notification of Amendment to Revenue Commissioner’s Guidance Note for “Section 481” Investment in Film.

Under new guidelines published this month, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) have been added to be guidelines.

In Section 6 which deals with the payment of the credit in instalments for the projects, the following addition has been made under Section 6.2 which deals with producers submitting evidence in order to claim the first instalment of their credits:

the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has completed its due diligence and agreed to release its funding to the producer company.
