‘666 Park Avenue’ First Show To Premiere On ITV Player… ITV has broadcast new US drama ‘666 Park Avenue’ on its online player, before it has premiered on TV. In a first for the broadcaster, the supernatural drama, which is a Warner Brothers production, was made available on the ITV Player last Monday, ahead of its ITV2 broadcast on Tuesday at 10pm. ITV recently relaunched the ITV brand, as well as the website. The UK broadcaster said it plans to premiere more shows online in a bid to target a younger audience.

Entertainment One Partners With Eleven Film To Develop Scripted Projects… Distribution company Entertainment One has partnered with fellow UK-based production company Eleven Film to develop scripted projects for the UK and International markets, reports Deadline. Entertainment One has distributed big budget films like ‘Twilight’ and ‘Side Effects’ in the UK and Ireland, while Eleven Film has produced shows like Sky One’s ‘My Breasts Could Kill Me’, presented by Dawn Porter, and the Channel 4 short films ‘Super Super’. The deal will see Entertainment One have exclusive first-look rights to all Eleven-produced scripted TV developments.

Oscars Affiliate Request Animated Short Films Be Removed From Internet… An Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences affiliate has requested that all Oscar-nominated short films are removed from the internet, in a bid to satisfy Oscar partner Shorts International, Deadline reports. Shorts International distributes the Oscar-nominated shorts on iTunes, on demand, and in theatres. According to Deadline, Shorts International said the shorts would suffer in the box office takings when they eventually get a theatrical release. Irish producer Fodhla Cronin Reilly’s animated short ‘Head Over Heels’ is among the nominees this year. Disney’s nominated film ‘Paperman’ is currently showing in theatres ahead of another Disney film ‘Wreck-It Ralph’, and was available to watch in full online. The other nominees, Fox’s ‘The Longest Daycare’, and independent film ‘Adam and Dog’, were also uploaded online for free viewing.

If You Watch One Trailer Today… ‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’ is released in Irish cinemas Wednesday (February 27). See Jeremy Renner (The Bourne Legacy) and Gemma Arterton (Byzantium) in the latest action film from Paramount.
