John Kelleher announced as Festival Director for the 2020 Fastnet Film Festival

Fastnet Film Festival has announced that film and television producer John Kelleher will be the Festival Director for the 2020 edition of the Cork-based festival.

A former Director of IFCO (the Irish Film Classification Office), John’s production credits include feature films, television drama and award-winning documentaries. He is on the board of Troy Studios, Creative Europe and Wildcard Distribution and is the resident film critic on Ivan Yates’s The Hard Shoulder on Newstalk. John is also a patron and former Chairperson of FFF.

Call for Entries for the 12th Fastnet Film Festival has also been announced, with a prize fund of €20,000. Entry will open on September 1st with a new Irish Language category to be included for the first time, which carries a cash prize of €2,000.

The 12th Fastnet Film Festival runs from Wednesday, May 20th to Sunday, May 24th, 2020.
