FIN Partners Issue Call for Applications for Co-Production Market's UK and Ireland Spotlight
17 Jun 2019 : News Desk
FIN Partners
FIN Partners is Canada’s top international co-production/co-financing market focusing on feature film and fiction series.

As part of its two-year spotlight on Ireland and the UK, FIN Partners invites Irish producers to submit their film and television projects, to meet with investors, financiers, sales agents, agencies, broadcasters and distributors from around the world, all set against the backdrop of the Atlantic International Film Festival and the vibrant coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

For convenience, FIN Partners is scheduled right at the end of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The deadline for applications is June 28, 2019.

FIN Partners accepts up to two projects from interested producers around the globe for official selection. Financiers, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and senior level producers are invited to register to attend, looking for projects. Funding agencies are also invited to register to expand their network. Space is limited as FIN Partners ensures the delegate mix supports the objectives of both the projects selected and those attending looking to invest.

Spotlight region producers who are successful in their project submission application will be offered:

  • Complimentary registration for one producer per company (value $625 CAD+ tax)
  • Profile for each company and their projects in the FIN Partners delegate guide
  • Access to Canada’s funding organizations and provincial agencies with info on tax incentives, crews, talent and locations
  • Consideration of industry experts from the UK and Ireland to participate in panels and as keynote speakers
  • A personal 1-2-1 meeting schedule with key players who producers want to meet, and assistance with further introductions to potential business partners
  • Casual breakfasts, lunches, networking receptions, and the Nova Scotia Lobster Dinner
  • Access to Atlantic International Film Festival screenings featuring the very best from Atlantic Canada and around the world
  • Ground transportation to and from the Halifax airport and to screening venues
