Euro Connection 2017 call for projects

The short film co-production forum is currently accepting applications, with a deadline of Thursday, October 5th 2016.

The forum is designed to foster partnerships between European production companies, funders, broadcasters and emerging filmmakers for short film projects. It will run from February 8th-10th 2017, including pitching sessions, one-to-one business meetings and facilitated networking for producers and participants.

16 short film projects are chosen each year, with 68 films already completed in the last seven years. A further 32 co-productions have arisen as a direct result of producers networking at the event.

Requirements

  • Submitted projects should be a short film (animation, fiction, creative documentary)
  • The film's duration proposed duration should not exceed 40 minutes
  • The project must have partial funding* granted by an external source (third party organisation)
  • The producer is open to international co-production (project suitable or intended for co-production)
  • Shooting or production shall start no earlier than May 2017
