Zanzibar Films and Wide Eye Films both successful in first round of Creative Europe Single Project Programme

Next Single Project Deadline is April 21st
Two Irish companies have been successful in the first round of Creative Europe Media’s Single Project results for 2016: Zanzibar Films and Wide Eye Films.

Zanzibar Films received €25,000 for their documentary, ‘Less than Human’. In total there were 102 creative documentary applications with 17 selected.

Wide Eye Films received €50,000 for their feature, ‘Don't Let Go’. They were one of the 31 films selected out of a total of 222 fiction applications.

The split of the available budget between the different genres is established according to the proportional share of the received applications: eight animation projects; 17 creative documentaries; and 31 fiction projects.

The next Single Project development deadline is this Thursday April 21st at 11am. Anyone in the process of applying should contact Creative Europe Ireland.
