Bow Street host Online Short Film Festival
30 Mar 2020 : News Desk
Bow Street
Bow Street Academy, The National Screen Acting School of Ireland, is hosting an online short film festival featuring performances from their many alumni in award winning short films.

Directed by a host of major Irish talent including Jim Sheridan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, and Damien O’Donnell, viewers should watch out for early work from Bafta Breakthrough Artist Niamh Algar, Bafta Rising Star Barry Keoghan and IFTA winner Charleigh Bailey.

Available to watch on Bow Street’s website, the shorts range from Comedy to Drama to Horror and provide something for everyone.

Bow Street’s Director Shimmy Marcus said:

With so many people forced to stay home, we wanted to give them a chance to catch up on some great Irish shorts, while also providing a platform for our alumni to maintain visibility in the market. We know these are difficult and uncertain times for our profession but we need to remain positive and celebrate our achievements when we can.”
