The Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) announces ‘Call for Entries’ for Irish films. The 20th annual Newport Beach Film Festival will take place from April 25th – May 2nd, 2018, in Southern California.

NBFF will screen an international slate of over 300 films including international spotlights, narrative, documentary, short and student films in 8 days.

Festival partners will include Culture Ireland, Galway Film Fleadh, Irish Film Institute, Tourism Ireland, Irish Film & Television Academy, The Richard Harris International Film Festival and Screen Ireland. Selected Irish films will qualify for audience and festival awards. NBFF will assist participating Irish filmmakers with outreach and promotion to various film industry executives and media.

Irish film submissions must be sent using the Newport Beach Film Festival website. Qualifying film entries must have a completion date of Jan. 1, 2018 or later. Film entries must not be available via internet or broadcast nationally via cable or satellite television in the U.S. prior to the Festival screening in order to be eligible.
