The scheme which is a partnership between Screen Training Ireland, the IFB and BAI offers a select number of participants work placement lasting six weeks throughout the shoot on the award-winning Irish drama.
The application deadline is Friday, March 17th with applicants required to submit their CV and covering letter to the email provided below.
‘Red Rock’ is currently in production on its third season and placements are available in various departments for those interested in a career in the industry, in order to gain on-the-job experience on the drama.
In particular these placements will focus on:
- Assistant Directing
- Props
- Art Department
- Post Production
Candidates will receive training in working on set, including set etiquette, health & safety, roles and responsibilities, team working, and department-specific requirements.
The scheme is designed for entrants to the industry, recent graduates or professionals from other sectors whose experience could prove relevant to specific areas of TV production.
It also offers continuing professional development for experienced production personnel by providing practical work-based learning and mentoring.
