Cork’s Talent Development Campus will welcome emerging film talent from across Ireland , the UK, and Europe to collaborate, network and train together.

Each of the industry training events will be accompanied by a networking event where participants of the campus not only get the opportunity to forge new international partnerships and collaborations with their peers but benefit from the knowledge and expertise of Cork Film Festival’s national and international industry guests.

The Talent Development Campus at CFF will welcome partners such as RTÉ, Shooting People, CIT, DocHeads, Crossover Labs and the BAI (Broadcasting Authority of Ireland).

Capital Irish Film Festival looking for submissions

Solas Nua is calling for submissions of films by or about the Irish for consideration for its 10th Capital Irish Film Festival (CIFF). The 2016 festival is scheduled for March 3-6.

CIFF highlights the best of contemporary Irish film and provides opportunities for Washington D.C.-area film lovers to interact with Irish filmmakers. In 2016, CIFF will particularly showcase emerging filmmakers who are addressing the question of Irish identity. CIFF is known for presenting the most Irish language films of any U.S. festival.

CIFF is an expression of Solas Nua’s mission: to bring the best of contemporary Irish arts to the Washington D.C. area. In each of its preceding nine years, the festival has grown its audience for the four-day festival and 2016 will certainly continue that trend in this anniversary year.

Submissions are due by September 30th, 2015. For more info click here.
