‘Love Eternal’ at CPH PIX
‘Love Eternal’ is set to feature at the sixth edition of Denmark’s largest fiction festival in April. Directed by Brendan Muldowney (Savage), the film was recently acquired by Wildcard for distribution in Ireland. Based on the Japanese novel ‘In Love with the Dead’ by Kei Oshi, ‘Love Eternal’ is one of 160 feature films being showcased at the event. CPH PIX will also host a series of alternative screenings around Copenhagen, including an open air screening of Hitchcock’s ‘Torn Curtain’ in the Tivoli Gardens and Cabellero’s ‘The Distance’ screening at a factory in Nordhavn.
‘No Limbs No Limits’ Trailer
The trailer for Joanne O’ Riordan’s story, ‘No Limbs No Limits’, has been released. Directed by her brother Steven, the film premiered at The Cork Opera House in October 2013 to two standing ovations and recently screened as part of JDIFF. ’No Limbs No Limits’ was two years in the making with funding support from the Irish Film Board, Rehab Ireland and Vodafone Foundation Ireland. The intimate family portrait will be released in cinemas nationwide on Friday April 11.
Russell Crowe in Dublin this weekend for ‘Noah’ Premiere
The Oscar winner will be in town this Saturday to attend the VIP screening of his latest film, ‘Noah’. The premiere will take place at the Savoy cinema with Crowe jetting in from Italy where he is currently promoting ‘Noah’ with co-stars Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone and Anthony Hopkins. The film, which is directed by ‘Black Swan's’ Darren Aronofsky, will be released in Ireland on April 4.
