Looking back on the year gone by, IFTN spoke to Screen Scene’s Keith Jordan, who looks back at a fantastic 2014 had by the post house and what we should expect from them in 2015.
IFTN: What have been the key shows/films/docs/dramas that you worked on in 2014?
Features & Drama’s are ‘Frank’, ‘Patricks Day’, ‘Glassland’, ‘Ripper Street’ Series Three (VFX only).
Documentaries we’ve worked on include ‘High Hopes Choir’, ‘Guess Who’s Dead’ and upcoming feature length documentary ‘Dennis Rodmans Big Bang in Pyonyang.’
TV shows we’ve worked on include ‘Domestic Divas’, ‘Neil Delamere’s Holding Out For A Hero’ and ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’ Season 2 as well as ‘#Trending’.
Commercials we have worked on include: BMW, RSA, Three mobile, An Post and Meteor.
What have been the highlights of 2014 for your company?
The well deserved critical praise ‘Frank’ received upon its release, ‘Glassland’ and ‘Patricks Day’ winning at the Galway Film Fleadh, The VFX departments incredible work on ‘Ripper Street’ series 3 and the newly launched Screen Scene and Ardmore Sound Websites (www.screenscene.ie and www.ardmoresound.ie)
What’s in store for the first quarter of 2015?
‘Glassland’ will screen at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, ‘Big Bang in Pyonyang’ will make its world premiere at Slamdance Film Festival and a number of exciting projects will enter post production here including Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Room’ and John Carney’s ‘Sing Street’ as well as ‘1916’ a three part documentary series for RTE and PBS.
