ARRI will launch their latest documentary camera the ARRI AMIRA at Digital Biscuit.
Launched by ARRI Director of Business Development Milan Krsljanin, the AMIRA will also feature in Digital Biscuit's series of masterclasses entitled 'The Works', which run alongside the event programme on Thursday January 23rd and Friday the 24th.
Dubbed as a versatile documentary camera designed for single-operator, shoulder-mounted use, the AMIRA is aimed at established and independent filmmakers alike, utilizing CFast2.0 flash memory that allows it to boot up as quickly as possible for immediate use - typifying the ARRI slogan of "Pick Up, Shoot".
The AMIRA also incorporates the functionality of in-camera grading, allowing filmmakers to grade footage as they shoot for minimal editing and quick turn-around in the cutting room. Further technical specs for the ARRI AMIRA include the ability to shoot up to 200fps in a versatile range of formats, and the Super 35mm sensor it shares with its predecessor, the ALEXA.
