The Canadian sales outfit has acquired the rights from Element Pictures Distribution, based in Dublin Ireland.

‘A Date For Mad Mary’ released to Irish cinemas on Friday, September 2nd and is set to feature in the Irish line-up for the BFI London Film Festival in the UK this October.

Darren Thornton’s feature stars IFTA-nominated actress Seána Kerslake, who received the Ray Bingham New Talent Award at the Galway Film Fleadh for her performance this year.

The film grossed €47,814 at the Irish box office for the weekend of October 2nd-4th 2016.
