New Omniplex opens in Co. Down as part of £4.5M investment
20 Jul 2016 : Katie McNeice
The new branch opened last weekend in the outlet centre of Banbridge, Co. Down following a recent investment in the retail park by Tristan Capital Partners and The Lotus Group.

NI operations director of the Omniplex Group Paul John Anderson commented at the opening:

“The opportunity to locate at The Outlet, during this exciting period of investment and development, posed the ideal time for us to finally break ground in Banbridge and continue the expansion of Omniplex Cinemas in Northern Ireland.”

He further states that the new branch, which is the first Omniplex MAXX screen in Northern Ireland, has almost 6,000 blockbuster screenings scheduled for the remainder of the year, making it set to become one of the busiest screens in the region.
