Event Films, the London-based production company founded by Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) graduate Paul Cotrulia, has just launched the latest trailer for its upcoming original web-series, ‘Infinite’.
A live action science fiction series concerning space travellers on an experimental journey through a black hole and into another universe, the series is to be a ten episode co-production with Youtube, bypassing traditional distribution channels and airing directly onto the video-sharing platform with a projected launch date of 2014.
The series, currently being shot on soundstages in London, has a further Irish connection with Peter Houlihan and Lisa O’ Reilly attached as 3D Modeller and Character Designer respectively, IADT graduates both. Cast members include Nicholas Briggs (‘Doctor Who’, ‘The League of Gentlemen’) Lia Albers and Joshua Berg, who will play lead character McQuaid.
Berg and Albers previously collaborated with Cotrulia on his short ‘Masochist’ (2013), as well as micro-budget feature ‘Modified’ (2012).
Founded in 2011, Event Films is a London-based motion picture financing, production and distribution studio. The studio is due to follow their latest teaser with a number of behind-the-scenes production videos going into the autumn.
