TV3 Call Out For New Programming Ideas
07 Dec 2016 : Laura Brennan
TV3 is currently seeking submissions across the independent production sector for round 28 of the BAI Sound & Vision Fund.

The Group is also issuing a general call out for new programming ideas ahead of 2017.

Of particular interest and focus for TV3’s 2017 programming schedule are new 30 minute pre-watershed weekday slots, focusing on new noisy lifestyle and factual formats, access strands and returnable “brand defining” series.

TV3 Group would also welcome 30 minute topical and quick turnaround propositions for 2017 in particular.

They are seeking new opportunities within its peak schedule in hour long slots, focusing on factual entertainment and access series with great casting and storytelling at its heart, reflecting life in contemporary Ireland, along with must-see hard-hitting documentary series and high-end drama.

New Talent is also of focus across all genres.

Both BAI and direct TV3 submissions must meet the criteria as set out in the  Commissioning Guidelines.

The closing date for submissions via the submission portal is Monday 19th December 2016.

Note to Producers:

1. Eligible Submissions:  TV3 is currently inviting submissions from Producers or Production Companies only at this time.

If you are not a producer or submitting through a production company, and have a general query, feel free to contact info@tv3.ie

2. Re-submissions: Producers or production companies that have recently submitted ideas to the portal are invited to review the call out document and new guidelines, and revise their ideas based on this.
In addition to new ideas, producers and production companies are welcome to revise their previous submissions if they feel they may be applicable to our call out.
In this instance we would ask that these re-submissions be clearly labeled as're-submission - revised for call out'.

For more information about submissions visit the Commissioning section of the TV3 website.
