The ‘IFTA Film and Drama Awards Special’ will air on TV3 this Bank Holiday Monday at 9pm.
Louise Duffy and Eoghan Doherty will present the Special with exclusive coverage of the ceremony, which took place last Sunday at Dublin’s Mansion House. The show will bring viewers all the red carpet and backstage action and exclusive interviews with the nominees and winners.
The IFTA Film and Drama Awards ceremony itself was hosted by Caroline Morahan and saw ‘Song of the Sea’ win Best Film, while Moe Dunford took home the Best Actor Award for ‘Patrick’s Day’ and Deirdre O’Kane was awarded Best Actress for ‘Noble’.

With high profile names such as Sean Bean, Patrick Bergin, Jim Sheridan, Amy Huberman, Aidan Gillen, Deirdre O’Kane, Moe Dunford and Andrew Scott in attendance, TV3 interview guest presenters and attendees on the red carpet, and meet with the winners backstage.
The 2015 IFTAs also saw filmmaker Jim Sheridan awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award with a tribute from famous faces he’s worked with around the world. They paid homage to his career which spans over 30 years, with credits that include ‘My Left Foot’, ‘The Boxer’, ‘In America’, ‘In the Name of the Father’, ‘The Field’, ‘Brothers’ and ‘Some Mother’s Son’.
The ceremony show was produced by Dolores Comerford, associate producers are Gary Flood and Tony Deegan and the production manager is Dee Keane.
The ‘IFTA Film and Drama Awards Special’ will air this Bank Holiday Monday 1st June, at 9pm on TV3.
