Silver Screen Star Maureen O’Hara At the IFI

Irish screen legend Maureen O’Hara will be honoured at the Irish Film Institute for her contribution to international cinema with a screening of her 1939 classic "Hunchback of Notre Dame" followed by a book signing with Ms O’Hara.

Maureen O’Hara is one of Ireland’s finest actresses and has starred in a number of acclaimed classics including ‘The Quiet Man’, ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ and ‘How Green Was My Valley.’ Ms O’Hara will be in the IFI bookshop to sign copies of her new autobiography 'Tis Herself’ which traces Maureen O'Hara's journey from Dublin to Hollywood, from aspiring Abbey actress to world-famous movie star.

Event taking place at the IFI on September 26th, 2004. Tickets are available from the IFI box-office.
