Monster Sells Planet Rock Profiles To Biography UK

Dublin based distribution company, Monster Distributes, has just completed a deal with The Biography Channel UK for a large number of episodes of its music documentary series, Planet Rock Profiles.

The episodes include interviews with Beyonce,

Air, Moby and Macy Gray. This is Biography’s third Planet Rock Profile deal in the past year. The episodes will be broadcast in primetime and will be a major feature of their Music Month in October.

Louise Dillon, Acquisitions Manager, TBC said, "Planet Rock Profiles are an important part of The Biography Channel’s schedule and it’s great to have stars such as Beyonce and the Chili Peppers to broaden the appeal of the Channel.”

Planet Rock is the world’s leading series of biographies of celebrity musicians, including artists such as Kylie Minogue, Sting, REM, Coldplay, Sting and Tom Jones. Planet Rock is ITV’s longest-running commissioned series for their late evening schedule and there will be 100 episodes available at MIPCOM. Broadcasting in 124 countries and on 46 airlines, including recent sales to Canal Jimmy, Absat, eBismedia and Eurochannel.
