The two-day workshop dedicated to marketing strategy and social media for independent films will take place September 14th - 15th in The Galmont Hotel, Galway.
This workshop is meant for producers and other film professionals interested in developing their marketing skills and in getting up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. The small group of 12 participants will work on the marketing of a not-yet-released Irish film that will be used as a main case study throughout the workshop. The film will be screened at 11am on September 14th in the Pálás Cinema Galway. This will be followed by a general presentation from Alphapanda founder Mathias Noschis which will be open to the wider audio-visual sector.
On Day 2 of the Workshop, through brainstorms and group discussions, the participants will elaborate a marketing strategy for the film and develop a social media plan that includes creative ideas as well as engagement activities.
After the workshop, participants will be offered the opportunity to have 1-to-1 online meetings with Mathias to discuss the marketing of their individual film projects.
