Among them are award-winning and independent features, documentaries, and shorts from Ireland and the United States as well as Australia, Canada, Northern Ireland, England, Palestine and Tanzania.

Highlights include the World Premiere of Breaking Icea documentary which tells the incredible true story of Ireland’s first bobsleigh team, the US Premieres of Karl Golden’s drama Bruno, Chiara Viale’s The New Music and  Malcolm Willis’ Kilimanjaro Mama, screenings of Neasa Hardiman’s horror Sea Fever, Shelly Love’s A Bump Along the Way and much more, including four short film programmes.

The Festival closes with documentary Gaza, “which shows life in Gaza through people's own words, as they attempt to lead meaningful lives against the devastation of enduring conflict.“ Directed by Sundance award-nominees Garry Keane and Andrew McConnell, the Film was selected as Ireland's official entry for the Oscars' Best International Feature Film category (formerly Best Foreign Language category.)
