Spotlight's Open House Ireland: 16th - 20th April

Spotlight's Open House Ireland is back this month. They're hosting four events over the week 16-20th April, with a fantastic mix of workshops, one-to-ones and panel discussions.

All events are free for current Spotlight members. Please book a max of 2 events to allow for as many Spotlight members to participate in these events.

Spotlight Ireland Open House: Auditioning for Screen Workshop

This is an exciting opportunity to step into the professional world of casting and experience the casting process from beginning to end. You will have the opportunity to work professionally in a studio to shoot and record your chosen scene, it must be a ‘duologue’ written for TV or Film.

Spotlight Ireland Open House: Yoga for Actors

Actors are invited to explore the possibility of their bodies, lead by Dee’s dynamic fusion of yoga, dance and movement. Reignite and energise your body, explore your strength and stamina, working from the ground up.

Spotlight Ireland Open House: How to Manage Audition Day Jitters

Do limiting anxieties, fears and insecurities let you down at auditions? If yes, then this workshop will serve you well. Rachel will guide you through exercises and techniques that will help you to manage negative internal dialogue and thoughts that can so often spiral out of control and cause you to forget your lines when you need to remember them most. Rachel will also cover how to engage in the process of building inner resilience which will help to minimise the impact of not being chosen for that plum role.

Spotlight Ireland Open House: Finding Your Voice

An introduction to voice, preparing your body through relaxation, breath control, breath support exercises, enabling you to take complete control and realise the potential of your voice.
