Olivier Martinez Joins Cast of Subotica’s Adventure Series ‘Soldiers of Fortune’
14 Dec 2017 : Nathan Griffin
Olivier Martinez is set to star in ‘Soldiers of Fortune’, the new action adventure series being produced by Ireland’s Subotica Entertainment and New Zealand’s Mercenary TV Ltd.

The show is also set to be executive produced by Roadside Attractions TV.

Tristan Lynch and Aoife O’Sullivan of Subotica will produce the series alongside Trevor Haysom and Richard Fletcher of New Zealand’s Mercenary TV Ltd. Michael Colleary is set to be the showrunner on the production, while Martinez will play black-ops specialist Vincent Corbo, who gets hired by a high-tech mogul to overcome the companies, governments and criminal syndicates who are trying to sabotage his business empire.

Colleary has previously worked on feature projects such as ‘Face/Off’ and ‘Laura Croft: Tomb Raider’. Fortitude International have also acquired the rights to the series and have begun shopping it already. Additional cast are also set to be announced after Christmas with filming set to begin in late February.

Speaking about the series, executive producers Howard Cohen and Eric d’Arbeloff of Roadside Attractions TV said:

“A television series set against the backdrop of high-tech private military units deployed by billionaires to achieve their political and business goals couldn’t be more timely or exciting.”

Subotica are also due to wrap on Swedish-Irish co-production drama ‘Rig 45’, which is due to finished principle shooting in Dublin on December 15th.
