Speakers confirmed for STI’s Immersive Content Creation

Screen Training Ireland announce the key speakers for their Immersive Content Creation event on Saturday, 23rd September in the RHA Gallery, Ely Place.

This event is open to creatives from all areas of the audiovisual sector, and is designed to encourage creative and technological engagement and collaboration in the development of VR/AR content.  
 
Key speakers on the day will include:
 
Stefan Grambart was the creative lead on the Emmy® award-winning Sleepy Hollow VR experience, and was the creator and conceptual lead of Halcyon. Halcyon is nominated for a 2017 Rose d’Or in the inaugural virtual reality category.
 
Michel Reilhac is a pioneer in Virtual Reality film making and interactive storytelling. As of January 2017, he is head of Submarine Channel in Amsterdam where he is now based.  Michel is co-programmer for Venice VR, the VR Competition section and VR programme for the International Venice Biennale Film Festival.
 
Nikki Lannen is the Founder and CEO of WarDucks; a Virtual Reality studio focused on making high quality games and experiences for the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality platforms. Nikki also runs the IRISH VR MeetUp, Virtual Reality Ireland Facebook group.
 
Fiona Kilkelly works with Innovate UK – Knowledge Transfer Network’s creative, digital and design team. Prior to joining KTN, Fiona worked as a digital and creative media consultant for Creative Skillset and the Digital Content Forum.
 
Tanya Laird has been at the forefront of emerging creative technology spanning immersive theatre, Transmedia VR, AR and AI. She sits as the co-Chair of the Immerse U.K. Sub group for content; is the creator of the VR Writers Room and the co-organiser for the VR & AR focused meet-up group “Augmenting Reality”.
 
Jeremy Dalton leads PwC’s VR/AR proposition, helping clients understand and quantify the benefits of virtual & augmented reality technology.
 
Paul Bouchard joined WIDE’s team in 2014 and became head of Business Affairs and Acquisitions. Paul is currently managing the development of WIDE VR, a new department dedicated to sales of narrative VR experiences.
 
The conference runs from 9.30am to 6pm, including presentations, panel discussions and VR demonstrations. A full schedule of the day will follow.
