Principal photography finished after four week shoot
Principal photography has finished on 'Dublin Oldschool', Dave Tynan's feature, adapted from the acclaimed and award-winning stage play of the same name. The film retains both Emmet Kirwan and Ian Lloyd Anderson in their leading roles.
The project films for four weeks in Dublin City and Co. Wicklow.
On finishing the shoot, Dave Tynan told IFTN, "Shooting Dublin Oldschool was a brilliant few weeks. I think we’ve made an honest, exciting and cinematic adaptation of Emmet Kirwan's magical play. We’ll get prove that in the edit and I can’t wait to start this next phase in Windmill Lane.
"One part of the play I always adored was its sense of the city. Filming over the last few weeks felt like another affirmation of the city as we involved so many people and places. We had an extraordinary cast and an incredibly committed crew I was constantly humbled by."
