Stellify Media, the production company behind TV3’s Blind Date, has a new show starting tonight on UK’s Channel 5

'In Solitary The Anti-Social Experiment' is pitched as a “gruelling, psychological ‘anti-social’ experiment that challenges three members of the public to spend five days in solitary confinement, asking one of the most relevant questions of our time: in a world where we have never been more connected, when was the last time you were completely alone?”

Sean Doyle commissioning editor at c5 commented
"This was a complex and intricate production to pull together. I am incredibly proud that we worked with Northern Irish production company Stellify, who created the concept and filmed In Solitary in Belfast, supporting independent talent and ideas. Being from Belfast myself I know how strong the talent in Northern Ireland is"

The show was posted at Ka-Boom in Belfast.

Sound Mixer: Will McConnell

Ka-boom worked very closely with Stellify Media in the technical aspect of the show in pre-production and how to management the vast amount of media when recording 8 fixed rig cameras 24 hours a day for 5 days. They managed the complete media workflow from location to edit, ingesting media 3 time in a 24 hour period.  The edit began on the same day the contestants entered Solitary so we had to ensure the footage was flowing from location to the edit in time.

Stellify Media, set up by Joint MDs Kieran Doherty and Matthew Worthy in 2014, is based in Belfast.
