‘Grounds for War’ director Patrick O’Shea helmed the title, which he also co-wrote and co-produced with Aidan Stanley (Jackie Oh!) of Southernman Films.
The title explores the life of Irish-American artist Tighe O’Donoghue/Ross, who achieved international acclaim for his paintings, sculpture and print work in the seventies and eighties.
London-based Starline Entertainment has picked up global distribution rights to a documentary about Irish-American artist Tighe O’Donoghue/Ross, who currently lives in Killarney, Co. Kerry.
The deal was negotiated by Carey Fitzgerald and O’Shea. The distributor is also said to be cutting a fifty-two minute version of the film, currently at seventy minutes, for transmission on television and digital platforms this year.
Carey Fitzgerald, Starline Entertainment:
“We have every confidence the film will resonate internationally and we can’t wait to share it with our extensive portfolio of buyers.”
