Seamus McGarvey Nominated at this Weekends BAFTA Craft Awards for ‘Black Mirror’

The Irish talent & recent IFTA winner for Best Cinematography for 'Nocturnal Animals' is nominated at this weekends BAFTA Craft Awards. Seamus has been honoured with a nomination for his work on S03 of Charlie Brooker’s cult Netflix series, in the Photography & Lighting: Fiction category.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 23rd and see's the nominated McGarvey share his category with Adriano Goldman (The Crown), James Friend (Rillington Place) and Ole Birkeland (National Treasure).

‘Black Mirror’ has received four nominations in total, with Susie Coulthard nominated for Best Costume Design for ‘Black Mirror: San Junipero’, Tanya Lodge for Make Up & Hair Design for the same episode, and Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn in the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects category for ‘Black Mirror: Playtest’.

Other nomination sweeps include four for Channel 4’s ‘National Treasure’, five for BBC Cymru Wales’ ‘War & Peace’, six for ‘The Night Manager’ from The Ink Factory, seven for ‘The Crown’ Left Bank Pictures, and sees BBC NHU’s ‘Planet Earth II’ on top with a total of nine nominations.
