In conjunction with Patrick’s Day Festival and Fingal County Council, the classic Irish title from Oscar-nominated director Jim Sheridan and John Carney’s musical box office hit will screen on Thursday, March 16th free of charge.

‘In America’ is a 2002 title starring a young Sarah Bolger (Into the Badlands) and Emma Bolger (Proof) alongside Paddy Considine (The Girl with All the Gifts) and Samantha Morton (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).

The family of four emigrate to the United States while grieving the loss of a child and try to adjust to life in Hell’s Kitchen.

The title earned three Oscar nominations in 2004 for Best Screenplay (Jim Sheridan, Kirsten Sheridan, Naomi Sheridan), Best Actress (Samantha Morton) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Djimon Hounsou)
