Worldwide Distribution Announced for Horror Feature ‘Nails’
15 Dec 2016 : Laura Brennan
Kaleidoscope Film Distribution (KFD) announces it has signed horror feature, ‘Nails’, for worldwide distribution.

'Nails' is directed by Dennis Bartok and produced by Fantastic Films with support from Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board.

John McDonnell, Producer at Fantastic Films commented: “We’re delighted to be continuing our successful relationship with Kaleidoscope with Dennis Bartok’s supremely scary Nails."

From the producers of ‘The Hallow’ and ‘Let Us Prey’, Brendan McCarthy and John McDonnell of Fantastic Films, Executive Producer Tom Abrams and the Executive Producer of ‘Assault on Precinct 13’, Joseph Kaufman.

‘Nails’ is written by Dennis Bartok and Tom Abrams, starring Shauna Macdonald (‘The Descent’, ‘Filth’), Ross Noble (‘Stitches’), Steve Wall (‘Vikings’) and Richard Foster-King.

It tells the story of a paralyzed woman, trapped inside her own body, who becomes convinced she is being stalked by a malevolent spirit in her hospital room.  No one believes her, leaving her to battle the terrifying entity alone.

Michael Chapman, Acquisitions & Development Executive at KFD commented: “We’re thrilled to be working with Fantastic Films again, a company which continues to produce unique genre projects. We look forward to sharing Nails with the international market.”

‘Nails’ will be released by Kaleidoscope Entertainment in the UK, with theatrical pencilled for early summer followed by home entertainment and digital releases in October 2017.

The horror will also debut at the forthcoming European Film Market, which takes place in Berlin from the 9-17th February 2017.
