All New ‘Paramedics’ Starts on TV3 Tonight
09 Nov 2016 :
A show that takes you behind the ambulance doors and on the road, with the dedicated men and women of the National Ambulance Service.

In episode one, we see paramedics respond to a heroin overdose in Dublin and watch as the emergency services dash to the top of Blarney Castle after an American tourist collapses.

‘Paramedics’ is produced with the help of the HSE National Ambulance Service. With the show gaining unprecedented access on board the National Aeromedical Service, which responds to calls across the entire island of Ireland.

As a factual series it sheds some light on the people we hope never to need, but when an emergency occurs, they are first to the scene.

From car crashes to cardiac arrests, we also meet the call takers, who handle the thousands of panicked 999 calls for help, across the country, in a life changing medical emergency, every day.

In its second series, you’ll witness ambulance crews as they tackle heroin overdoses, suicide attempts, trips, falls, cardiac arrests, dealing with death and imminent baby deliveries.

The Series is produced by Tile Films for TV3 and the series Producer/ Director/ Showrunner is Rob King.

‘Paramedics’ starts tonight, Wednesday 9th November at 8.30pm on TV3.
