Channel 4 airs the latest factual entertainment programme from Dundalk-based Big Mountain Productions tonight, Tuesday 8th November at 10pm.
From contour Kings and Queens to bad Barbies and cyber mermaids, the most extreme image lovers showcase their makeover skills on this new 1 hour pilot episode.
‘Extreme Makeovers: On Fleek’, will see eight of Britain’s most outrageous make up addicts, reveal the secrets behind their unique looks.
As well as their extreme tips, the show also includes vloggers producing ‘how to’ make-up tutorials to enthusiastic amateurs.
The format was commissioned by head of features Gill Wilson and produced by Lucy Wedlock, who has previously worked on, ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me out of Here’ and ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’.
Executive producer Jane Kelly said of the programme: “Extreme Makeovers was a fun accessible new format. We have quite a track record in spotting new ways into global subjects so we’re excited to see where our latest trend spotting will take us.”
Channel 4’s Head of Features, Gill Wilson said: “It’s harder than ever to make a mark as an individual with make-up. Those we feature are pushing the boundaries to its limit, trying to create a look which is unique, shocking, utterly perfect or all three.”
The production received support from Northern Ireland Screen.
