TG4 Programme Archive now a resource for Irish Leaving Cert Students
28 Oct 2016 : Katie McNeice
The archive material has been collated in partnership with NUIG and was recently launched at Tionól Teagaisc, a professional development service workshop on best practice in Irish language teaching.

This new resource is available internationally free of charge, with new content from the archive and customised exercises due to publish weekly.

In addition video representations of prescribed leaving cert poems will be provided, which express both the literal and metaphorical meanings of the text.

The resource has been made available in response to requests from both teachers and students to utilise TG4’s ongoing Irish language output to add structure to the current learning process.

Pádhraic Ó Ciardha, TG4 Leascheannasaí:
“As we mark the channel’s 20th Birthday next week the launch of this important development highlights TG4’s role as a provider of a public service and as an attractive daily point of contact with Irish for people of all ages.”
