The event on Thursday November 3rd is organised by South Eastern Creative Corridor and is the first in a year-long programme designed to explore emerging opportunities in the film and television sectors in the region.
All industry stakeholders are encouraged to attend, whether an existing business, future business, or those looking to sell products and services to others in the industry.
Siún Ní Raghallaigh, CEO of Ardmore Studios will make the key note address at the event. She will be accompanied by expert panellists Paul Young of Cartoon Saloon, Jim Duggan of Screen Scene, Naomi Moore of Windmill lane Recording and Sarah Dillon of The Irish Film Board.
Oscar winning director Anders Walter and producer Kim Magnusson recently participated in the official launch event for the SECC initiative along with actress Zoe Saldana on 6th October.
The vision for the SECC programme encompasses a broad range of activities categorised as ‘Creative Industry’ that are related to audio visual production. An investment fund of €100,000 is available to pitch for by companies which are successful in applying for the programme.
These companies will also take part in training workshops, networking events and mentoring meetings in each of the five counties.
Delivery of the programme will take place in each of the five partner counties with close collaboration between the Entrepreneurs Academy who are delivering the programme and LEO Wicklow, LEO Tipperary, LEO Wexford, LEO Carlow and LEO Kilkenny.
